Aiphone RX-JA is a weather-resistant, flush-mounted door station designed for use with the RAX or RCX microprocessor-based intercom systems. It operates on 24V DC and features a single pole, single throw, normally open call button that activates an external signaling device when pressed.
Dimensions: 4-1/2" H x 4-9/16" W x 3/8" D (outer depth).
Mounting: Requires a 2-gang electrical box.
Wiring: Uses 2 twisted pair homeruns to the RAX/RCX Control Unit (CEU) plus 2 wires for the external bell.
Wiring Distance: Supports up to 2,000' with 22AWG wire for RAX systems and 6,500' for RCX systems.
Functionality: Call-in signals from the RX-JA are not heard at internal master stations; instead, an external doorbell or sounding device must be used to alert occupants.
This unit is a used one that has been repaired by Aiphone. It has a broken upper catch tab.
These were special order when they were popular and near impossible to find now. Either it can be mounted with silicone or used for the internal parts with your internal case.
